Vixen is still operating as normal, in compliance with UK Government social distancing guidelines, and we would like to reassure everyone that we are open and responding to enquiries. In the unprecedented situation we all find ourselves in, our thoughts are with the families of those fighting the COVID-19 virus and with front-line health workers around the world.
Growing up Kat trained to be a car mechanic, she was inspired by her father and has always been passionate about cars and bikes. After working in different bodyshops, she decided to take the plunge and start up her own company around three years ago.
After spending so much time preparing alloy wheels by hand, Kat decided to contact Vixen Surface Treatments regarding an Aqua Wheelblaster.
Terry, one of Vixens Industrial Sales Engineers, visited Kat in Northern Ireland to discuss her requirements, which then led to her decision to purchase the machine.
KLC pride themselves on their priority being speed and efficiency, and the Aqua Wheelblaster makes that possible. This machine combines the standard six-stage process of manually preparing alloy wheels, into just one application.
The compact cabinet design ensures a dust-free process, which is safer for the operator using the machine. Kats machine was electrostatically powder-coated a darker grey than our standard machine to match her workshop, and also included a step to make it easier to see inside the machine.
“Words can’t really describe the service Vixen have given me. From the very first phone call to the actual delivery has been exceptional.
The patience and knowledge given to me from Vixen have been fantastic. Nothing was ever a hassle. The support given once the machine was up and running has been, and always will be good. The smallest, simplest question was never a problem, and Vixen took the time to get back to me straight away.
Any problems with the machine and somebody was out to assist me with no delay. I was made to feel very welcome when it came to enquire about the machine and I was made to feel like I was under no pressure to buy or thought little of for not being a big co-operation/company.”
