Vixen’s Aquablast 915 has appeared on Wheeler Dealers numerous times over the past few years
The current season features returning host Mike Brewer and new presenter Ant Anstead restoring cars for profit in their LA-based shop.
Inside the workshop contains one of Vixen’s wet blasting machines which has been designed to simultaneously blast components, making this an ideal choice for restoring cars.
The machine process cleans by flow and produces a soft finish with the water acting as a lubricant.
Producers of the show contacted Vixen a few years ago when the previous host Edd China personally requested to try out the machine. Edd received a demonstration from our highly experienced sales engineer Steve, on how to use the media for a specific finish to the component.
Years later, the machine is still often used and has now ventured over to America for their newer seasons.
Their newest host Ant Anstead is an internationally renowned car designer, who has recently been using the Aquablast 915 to blast clean a range of parts for classic cars such as Ford Capri and Volvo 850.
You can see the machine in action here. Ant Anstead, said: “They come up like new”.
Wheeler Dealers’ audience are sharing clips of Anstead using the machine, especially the youngest of viewers.
Watch the Aquablast machine and see the results for yourself. The latest series is currently being aired on Sky 125, Virgin 250 and BT 322 on Mondays at 9pm.
