The Tristar houses a rotating drum which has an 'Archimedes' continuous screw fitted to the internal wall. This means that as the drum rotates, the turning of the screw moves the parts forwards. The parts go through either three or four stages within the drum depending on the machine chosen. These machines have been developed to provide a continuous throughput of parts that need to be degreased, rinsed and dried in large quantities. The standard three stage model includes immersion, wash & dry, in addition four & five stage models are available which can include rinsing & extra drying stages. Drum diameters available from 300mm - 700mm.

La machine Tristar comporte un tambour qui est équipé d'une vis sans fin continue soudée aux parois internes. Ce qui permet aux pièces d'être dirigées vers la sortie pendant que le tambour tourne. Les pièces passent par plusieurs étapes de lavage à l'intérieur du tambour, en fonction de la machine choisie. Cette machine a été mise au point pour répondre à des besoins de production élevés de pièces qui doivent être lavées, dégraissées et séchées en grandes quantités. WHAT COMPONENTS WOULD TYPICALLY BE CLEANED IN A ROTARY DRUM MACHINE?

The Tristar rotary drum machine has been designed to provide a continuous throughput of smaller parts that need to be degreased and dried in large quantities. Typical applications would be for the washing and drying of nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners or similar small parts.

WHAT SIZE DRUMS ARE AVAILABLE?

The size of the drum can be from 300mm up to 700mm depending on the components size. It is important to select a drum size which allows easy washing and drying and dispersal of swarf from components to be washed.

All models are available with an optional rinse stage.

IS THE DRUM SPEED ADJUSTABLE?

Yes the speed of the drum can be controlled to increase or decrease cleaning, rinsing and drying times.

WHAT DETERGENTS CAN I USE WITHIN THE MACHINE FOR MY APPLICATION?

Vixen have a fully trained aftersales department who can advise on the most suitable detergent for your application. We supply a wide range of aqueous based detergents and also all the spare parts which you may require for the machine during its lifetime.

WHERE CAN I GET SPARE PARTS FOR THE MACHINE?

Vixen can supply all the spare parts for their machines direct to the customer. Once you have purchased a machine from Vixen you will be assigned an internal aftersales contact who is available to give you advice on spares and consumables.

We also offer service contracts on all our machines ranging from twice yearly to monthly visits.
